Lately, I’ve been finding my voice in photography by focusing on genuine connections between my clients. Authentic images only come from authentic relationships. At the same time, I’m leaning toward trendy couples who truly value and appreciate professional photography. That combination creates a pretty specific niche, but this couple fit the bill perfectly.
A Love Story for the Books
Jessica and Fred have a unique story. They grew up in the same town but did not start dating until several years later when they met online. She already knew she was smitten with him from their high school years, and he quickly fell for her the moment he arrived on her doorstep for their first date. From that moment, they never looked back. I loved meeting them and capturing their personalities in this breathtaking shoot taken on Arizona’s Mount Lemmon summit. The genuine connection was there, and they have flawless style. I could not imagine a more perfect fit.
This lifestyle session is featured on Magnolia Rouge. I particularly loved this session because it’s fashion driven and also shows that love has many colors, making it even more beautiful. Fred and Jessica’s relationship is so real that it was easy to capture their closeness and love for each other. Sometimes you can’t quite get the same romantic intimacy with staged couples (how often do you see them kissing each other’s noses?). I’m drawn to interracial couples because they show the world that no matter the skin color, unconditional love can not only exist but thrive. I find that despite the diversity found in our culture, it’s not showcased as much as it should be through photography. I want to change that. One gorgeous session at a time.
As a Phoenix Luxury Photography artist, capturing the love that flows from gorgeous couples such as this lights my heart on fire. Are you recently engaged? Congratulations! I’d love to chat about your engagement and wedding photography needs!
