The common theme I’ve encountered being a new Phoenix, AZ wedding photographer is that the heat is crazy and it never rains here. TJ & Kayla have been married for a few years but wanted some new portraits. Wedding photography has taken me to so many beautiful places and gave me the ability to meet beautiful couples like these two. We chose the amazing Superstition Mountains as our backdrop and it was my first time visiting this spot. As we were driving to the portrait session, we noticed the clouds and overcast forming in the blink of an eye. I still had faith that it wouldn’t rain for a slight overcast typically happens. We got on location, started getting some amazing images and within 10 minutes of the session it started raining dogs and cats. Sadly, we had to cut the shoot short but here are a few film images.
